"We must go to the Other Side"
Matthew 8: 18 speaks of the story of Jesus speaking to the crowd who asked how can they follow Jesus. Jesus said, "Follow me, and let the dead bury themselves". To get to the other side, Jesus will stay with you. He said follow Him. He didn't just say Go.. He said follow, which means that He is going with us. On the way to the other side there will be storms (23-27). Storm will allow you to show you who you are. You never know who really has your back until we get into the storm with them. As long as you know that Jesus is in the boat with you, you will make it thru the storm. Jesus will get you from where you were to where you are going, and just bc a storm comes in your life, doesn't mean that He won't get you thru it. We were created for our storm, God is just waiting for you to call Him so He can get you thru it.

July 18th Church Notes
"Your present praise, is for ur future prayer"
... Sometimes your praise today will be stored up for a prayer that u might have next year... You gotta praise God in advance. 2 Kings 20 speaks of Hezekiah when God told Hezekiah to get his house in order bc soon he will soon die. Hezekiah then while on his death bed he cried and prayed to God. God listened and told him that he will extend his life for 15 years... Just bc of the praise in his heart. We need to always have a praise inside. God will always see and acknowledge a pure heart. When praise is real, it'll show up in your life. Praise should be some strong in our heart where it will come out of our mouths and come out thru our actions. To bring the background of this story, 2 Chronicles, speaks on the beginnings of Hezekiah, he began his reign when he was 25 (God is looking from praisers at any age, God will not wait for you to be old to use you) and in the first year of his reign opened up the church. He noticed that Judah had lost its praise, so his first duty was to clean out the wicked in the city and bring the city back to church and praise God the way that it should be. Before God can work inside of you, you first have to let go of the wicked inside of you. God will not operate in disorder. God needs to feel welcome to be able to work in something. Hezekiah was praising God with his actions, not just praising with his lips. Verse 20 states after he take out the wicked, he brings offerings to God. When u take something out, you have to fill it back with something. So he took out wicked and brought an offering. He worshipped God and was showing his praise with the sacrifices on the alter. Chapter 30 states in his 2nd month of reign, he brought back the Passover. Passover is a time of reflection and redemption. Not only did he want to bring the Word, but he also wanted to remind us of what alllll God has done and redeem their souls. Once again, showing praise thru actions. Later in the scripture Hezekiah brought back tithes to the church. Tithes aren't about money, its about obedience. You are to give back to God the blessings that He has already bestowed on us. So with all of this that happened we go back to 2 Kings 20 and Isaiah the prophet comes to Hezekiah while he was on his death bed and he told hezekiah that he need to get his house in order bc he will soon die. Then Hezekiah, turned to the wall to pray and said, "Remember when I walked with a pure heart, remember how I cleaned out the church, remember what I've done". What Hezekiah did was praised God thru his life to help with his future prayer. He didn't just take Isaiah word, he went to God for a "Second Opinion". After Isaiah left, he got a word from the Lord that told him to tell Hezekiah that God has heard your cry, go to church in 3 days and He increase his life by 15 years(sometimes your healing will come when you come to church, some times Gods work needs to be done in the church, God wants ur presence, so u can call His name, He wants u in His house so that He can bless you). God wants to increase our life, just bc ur not on ur sick bed, doesn't mean u are close to death, God wants u to come to His house, be obedient and call His name, and He will remember you.

Fathers Day Church Notes
"Time to Bring God Back Home"
In 2 Samuel 6, speaks of David picking 30000 chosen men, and he brought them together to get the Ark of God. The Ark of God is where God's presence is. He got some chosen men to bring home the presence of God. Our troubles in our live stem from God not being present in our home. Not just part time, not just Sundays, but everyday and everywhere. So our problems is that we have evicted God from our house. To bring God back, you got to invite Him back with some praise. You got to le God know that you really want Him around. Just like when a soldier comes back from war, we make banners, have a party and make a joyful noise for his return. But God has fought so many battles for us, we should praise Him when He comes to our house. When a newborn come home, we make some many changes to the home, we take things out, we plug up outlets, we do everything to prepare for the new arrival. We should do the same for God when you bring Him home. You gotta clean up some things when u bring home the New Arrival. But u must remember that your praise aint enough. You can't fool God by just praising on Sunday, God knows how u are everyday of your life. Your obedience is better than sacrifice. All God wants you to do is obey His word. In the story... Even after the praise, after the Ark fell Uzzah tried to pick it up, and died. This shows that your praise isn't good enough. Anyone who touches the Ark has to be obedient, if not you're gonna die. So David gets frustrated it leaves it at the house of Obed-Edom and left for 3 months. And with the Ark being in his house, his family was blessed with increase. You have to obey God, praise is not enough. If you're relationships aren't working, what aren't you doing to obey God. David goes back to Obed-Edoms house after hearing all the blessing God has bestowed on his house. After getting back the Ark, David praised God the whole walk back. David praised bc of the blessing he knew that was coming home. He was praising in advance. He ran, leaped, twirled all over the city in praise for God. When he got back home, the daughter of Saul, Michal, talked down on how he acted. She said the priest shouldnt act how the servants do. David replied by saying "I didn't do it for you. I was praising the Lord, I don't care how humiliating I might look, I will celebrate God". And with her negativity on how God was being praised, God made her childless for the rest of her days. You praise God however God moves you and never complain on how someone else praises. So don't be mad at Obed-Edom for getting blessed, just go get what he has and bring God home.

July 3rd Church Notes
"Have You Ever Wanted To Quit?"
Psalms 73 wasn't wrote by David, it was wrote by Asaph, he was a praiser and a songwriter. He states that he knows God is good, but he feels like he almost lost his footing. He almost slips back into his old ways, just like when we feel like things get too hard and we wanna go have a drink or smoke. You ever felt like things were better before you turned your life over to Christ? But when you turned you life over now all Hell is breaking loose. In verse 3 he state he was envious of the foolish when he saw how prosperous they were. Its hard seeing the people who don't serve God doing better than we are and they aren't even living right. In verse 13 he asks, did I cleanse my heart in vain? But you gotta know that God doesn't work on our time but He is always on time. So u might thing you changed your way for nothing but God is working on you and making you a fisher of men, not of things. God chose you. In Verse 17, he states that all of his doubts were cleared up when he finally went to church and saw the destiny of the wicked. Verse 18 states that he notices that the wicked are actually the ones slippin, they are the ones slippin all the way to a cliff of destruction and instantly they will be destroyed. But we are heirs to the throne, and we are joint heirs with Christ. Christ is our Father.. And if they got it now, its prolly all they are going to get. We have so much more to get outside of the world. Knowing that our Father has everything in His hands, that means so do we. Just bc its not in our pockets doesn't mean its not in our possession. If Daddy got it, then we got it. God will supply all of our need according to His riches in glory. In verse 21, Asaph noticed how bitter his heart had been seeing the wicked prosper and he noticed it, and he recognized that God had continuously held his right hand and guided him through out his doubt. God will never leave you. With God holding your right hand, you will never get caught slippin... The wicked are the ones slipping to destruction... Not us. So no matter what hell we go thru here, this is not te end of our story, we are nothing but pilgrims on a journey to make it to heaven. He ends the Psalm saying that he recognized that all I ever needed was You, Lord.

Getting Gods Attention"
Psalms 100 is about Gods reign and knowing how to come to God. If you're wanting to get Gods attention, u first to have to make a joyful noise. You have to be willing to shout for Jesus. If u can't shout to praise God, u might not have been thru enough, u can't stop someone who has had their bills paid with no job stop praising God. Those people know God is worthy a few shouts. You shouldn't come to God with a sad spirit, bc u know that God can do all things so u know that the closer you get to God, the happier u should be. Come to God with expectation, knowing that God is going to do something in you. So u should have a shout ready for Him. Also when u come to God, u have to worship Him with gladness (verse 2). When u are doings Gods work, and do it with gladness, God will bless in your work. Come to God with a song in you're heart. If u are filled with the Holy Spirit, (Eph 5:18) you will have a song thru the hard times that come your way. The 3rd thing you need when u come to God is to know the Jesus is God. Knowing that Jesus is God is having confidence in Him and knowing that He doesn't need a second opinion on how He can bless you. You also have to know Gods power, and that He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. Knowing that God is the Creator, u should look at yourself a little different. If God created you the way He wants you to be, be thankful that He uniquely made you. Don't let no one tell you any different. (Eph 2:10) states that you are one of Gods masterpiece's and their will be no other like you. When you begin to love yourself you are showing thanks to your Creator.
We are Gods kids, He takes care of us bc His name is on the line. Parents don't let kids leave the house any type of way bc they know that their kids represent their name. God won't leave you bc His name is on line. (Psalms 106) States that he will save you just to show every just how powerful He is. (Isaiah 48:9) States that God has deferred His anger on us bc of His name. Bc we deserves Gods anger but His name is on the line and He will always take care of His children.(Ezekiel 36:29) States God promises to take you from ur current situation, even if you messed up Gods name with your actions, God will take you to His land, will have you go thru no type of famine, and He will correct His name thru you. He will show up in your life so much that people will see that God is still working and that He is still awesome. I suggest that you read Ezk 36 to fully understand Gods promise. He will always do what he promises He will do.

Romans 8:18 #10 Encouraging Bible Verse for Hard Times
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
This is very important to know and to remember when hard times like the ones we are going thru tend to bring us down. We all are at different places in our walk with God and I am no better of a Christian than anyone else, bc we all have sinned. Im just trying my hardest my make my life better.. TIMES are harddd.. we all know this.. its seems like the only ones living good are the ones who are doing the wrong things to do it.. ie, Drug dealing, stealing or whatever else..
It seems that the ones working the hardest have the least to show for it sometimes.. but you gotta remember that God will supply ALL of our needs according to His riches in glory (Phil 4:19). Hold on and be steadfast..
think of your faith as a goal that you wanna meet. think about it as a workout plan.. think of hard it is to be commited to the gym when there are sooo many fast food restaurants in between you and the gym.. we consider then traps.. The same way we can thing about building our faith and being commited to grow in the body of Christ.. there are sooo many traps in between us and the church that could keep us away.. but if u are commited to living right and seeing that change you will not yield to all the temptations the Devil has put in front of you.. You cant just go to the gym with no plan of attack... you got to read the intruction on the machines to know what muscles you are working on.. so youre gonna have to read you Bible, and receive instructions on how to build your mind in Christ.. and the more you work out.. the more you wanna keep working out.. bc you start to see the change.. so the more you read the word and take heed to it.. you start seeing the change in your life.. and then.. the more you keep working out... and eating right.. people start to see the change on u.. and the more you start living right in the Word.. and starting doing right.. people will start seeing that change in your life... and you start working out soo much that you bring start inviting your friends.. and you get a workout partner.. so you start going to church so much and testifying that you bring your loved ones to church and they become your prayer partners.. and at this point of commitment.. everyone can see that you have made a change in your life for the better and you can now be an example that you were outta shape, lazy, tired, short of breath and unhealthy..but since you been going to the "Gym" you are now a prayer warrior, a peace maker, a cheerful giver, slow to anger, soldier of God.. and I want yall to see my before and after pics one day and tell me, "Boy.. Im proud of all that work you put in.. I can definitely see the change"

Know Your Enemy...
I just jad a to quickly speak on a coupla things on my heart..
If you know that there is a battle for your heart, mind and soul.. you have to know your enemy.. "Tongue" Cont
1 Cor 14 6 Paul states that even if he speaks in tongue, what good is it if there's not explanation or teaching, how will it profit u? Even things without life must make a distinct sound (such as trumpet before battle) also should we and the tongue we speak (verse 9).Verse 12 states that if ur gonna use ur gift, make sure that its to build up the body of Christ. You have to be able to speak what people can understand. If we can't understand, then we can't say Amen. We can't agree to something that we don't understand. When u speak in tongue, pray that u have a way to interpret it so it can edify the body. Verse 23 - 28 states that if outsiders who can't interpret what the tongue is saying, u might seem crazy. Tongue is to bring together the body, not separate. And if u speak tongue and no one is there to interpret it, don't speak it out loud... Keep it between you and God...

1 cor 12 10 "Spiritual Gifts" Cont
Verse 10 speaks on the gifts of speaking tongue. We all know that this is one of the most controversial subjects known in the church. Churches have been separated due to this subject. Todays word will be about what the Bible says about the "gift" of tongue. First, what is tongue? Speaking in tongue means the ability to speak a different language without prior knowledge or understanding. But in order of it to help the Body, there must be some interpretation. Body as in the Body of Christ. Tongue is not just uttering something that can't be interpreted. Tongue was never meant to divide but to bring unity. The devil will make his was to counterfeit tongue to bring divide in the body. Tongue doent make u any more spiritual that anyone else.
Tongue doesn't always mean that you are filled with the spirit. Don't let no one tell you that u aren't filled with the spirit if you can speak in tongue. When Jesus was baptized, He was filled with the Spirit but Jesus didn't speak in tongue. If your filled with the Spirit, you will just speak of Christ with Boldness. Acts and Corinthians are the only books of the Bible that speak about tongues. And in these books never does it show that the people with the gift are any better than the people without it.
The gift is not to glorify the person with the gift, but the Giver. 1 Cor 14 (King James Version) speaks on tongues and prophecy. It speaks on the fake tongue is for man to edify himself, but the real gift is to edify the Spirit. Verse 5 speaks it would be good if we all have tongues but we don't, it is better if we all just prophesy. We can't be told that we can't be saved if we don't speak tongue bc we ALL don't have that gift. Once again don't believe someone stating that u NEED to speak tongue to be saved. Verse 6 states, what good is an unknown language if no one can understand it?? If you speak in tongue and no one can interpret it but you, what good is that?
Act 2 speaks of on the day of Pentacost, the believers were in a place were God told them to meet and in the room and sound came over them and the gift of tongue came over them and that all spoke of God loud and in all different languages that they didn't know. At the same time there were devout believers from all nations and they heard them and ran to see what was going on. And when they all came, they found all of the believers speaking in their native language of all the blessings God had bestowed on them. This act was to bring back unity in spirit as it was prior to Gen 11: 9 (when he separated all the people into different languages). Bc in Genesis all the people were of one language but couldn't communicate with each other. The tongue brought the nations together with the word. Pentacost is when all of the Jews of all nations come to Jerusalem to worship. So God places tongues on the group to speak the wonderful works of God to all of the nations. This is how tongues will edify and bring unity to the Body and Spirit of God. This shows the importance of this gift just know when and how it should be used. Even in this story, it shows that the gift of tongue is not enough, because after of this, Peter still preached to those who witnessed and told them that they still need to repent and ask forgiveness for your sins and then you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Which is the ultimate gift.

Love.. Again
This is for the ladies(and fellas)..... Most women are taught by there fathers how a man is supposed to treat them. A good father will show her the kind of love and care she as a woman should expect from a man. Father and daughter will have to spend time up close and personal so that this love is conveyed and understood. If this done correctly the daughter will have a better chance allowing the right type of man in her life. This relationship is no different than the one relationship WE all should have with the Father God. To know Him intimately is to know true love. The love He shows us isn't based on the love we show God....lucky us. God's love doesn't waiver it is continuous and ever abundant even when you feel you don't deserve it. Allow people(fellas and ladies) into your intimate space that reflect that kind of love....anything less could be heartbreaking.

Victory
Waddup and good morning to all!
Ask yourself "how may battles has God lost?" Count em up...none, zero zilch!
His biggest battle was defeating the sins of the world. He put it on the devil thru the crucifixion, flawless victory! God even sacrificed His Son and brought him back in full glory. So ask yourself "if God be with me who can be against me?"
The best part is every battle in front of you is it is not yours to fight. The battle is not yours 1 Samuel 17:47 proves that giants can be defeated if you let the Lord do the fighting. Your biggest weapon is your faith and when you turn your complete faith over to God and let him use it there is no way to loose. NO WAY!

All is needed is Thank You
Good morning! You ever pray so much over a situation that you begin to doubt it will ever come to pass. Then stop and say thank you with the confidence that your Heavenly Father heard your cry and has answered your plea. Seek the Lord in all your matters with the bold confidence that they have been met as the Lord has seen fit. It may not be what you wanted or when you wanted it but know that what God has for you supersedes what we think we need or want. Simply say thank you for what has yet been manifested, knowing that he hasn't failed you yet.

How Ya Feeling?
Here's something to think about if your situation has you feeling anything other than blessed. Walk with this in your heart, 2 Cor 4: 8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
You are not destroyed, your problem doesn't have the best of you. Look for the other set of footprints on those days you can't walk this life. When you need to reach higher heights know that there will be angles to lift you. When you feel no love know the that Jesus loves you endlessly. Those that have THAT love don't have to fear distress, despair or destruction. That includes you.

1 Cor 12 10 speaks on the gift of prophecy. This deeper then just telling someone what God said to tell someone else. In the old testament, prophets would foretell events in the New Testaments. Foretelling is not needed any more now that Revelations has been made. Now it is called forthtelling. Forthtelling is explaining was has already been said. Revelations has already revealed what is going to happen.
Hebrews 1 tells that God would speak to prophets in diverse ways to give messages to His people. And verse 2 states that once His Son came, he stopped using the prophets. Prophets were used to speak of the coming of Jesus. Once Jesus came, God spoke through His Son. There is no reason for us to be looking toward false prophets to see where you will end up.
John 1 states in the beginning was the Word, the Word was God and the Word was with God. Which explains in the beginning of eternity, Verse 2 states the Word was with God also in the beginning of time. So verse 1 was the beginning of eternity and verse 2 was the beginning of time (gen 1 1). This shows that Jesus was always with God, from the beginning of eternity, even before time. Jesus is the Word. Hebrews 10 7 speaks of Jesus saying that anything you need to know about me will be found in the Book (the Word, the Bible). Knowing this, we shouldn't believe NOTHING unless its in the book. We need to not believe all the false prophets going around saying things that are NOT of the Word. If someone tells you someone, ask them to back it up by the Word. Never believe something that can't be backed up by the Word.
2 Peter 1 20 states that no one can make their own interpretation of the Word, verse 21 states that the Word was given by the Spirit of God. Acts 16 16 states of a young girls who was gettin paid for soothsaying, she follow Paul and Silas around for a few days telling everyone in the city that "These men have the power of Salvation".. After a few days Paul gets tired of her, and speaks to the spirit in her and tells her "in the spirit of God, I command you to leave this girl" and the spirit left and she no longer could tell the future. If someone is carrying a spirit not of God, God will make a way to show you the false prophets... IE Miss Cleo. Paul had the gift of discernment. That is the gift of knowing what is being said is actually of the word. The gift of discernment will allow you to know someone's spirit. You will be able to know that someone is of God. You will be able to read someone's spirit. We can easily be fool by praise, the girl who had the evil spirit of soothsaying was praising Paul and Silas just so she could fool others into thinking that she was with them. She was tryna make it seem as if she was walking and speaking with the Word. Paul who had the gfit to know that she was not of God, told that spirit to leave. He wouldn't allow Gods people to be fooled no longer. "We don't know what the future holds, but we know who holds our future".

1 Cor 12 10 speaks on the gifts of miracles and healings. When God gives you the gift of healing, there shouldn't be any payment for the healer to heal. Some healers state that they can't heal someone due to the other persons faith. That's incorrect, Jesus worked His healing on anyone He was moved to heal, saved or unsaved. We are so used to looking for miracles and healings for the physical, but God works on our mental, or emotional. He still heals us on the inside as well as the outside. James 5
15 states, the prayer of the sick will save the sick, not heal. The sick that's is being referred to is the spiritually sick. Our spirit needs to be more than just healed, it needs to be saved. We need to worry more about saving people spiritually more than physically.. The body was made from dust will return to the dirt, we need to have our mind stayed on our spiritual destination.
God still heals. Its not our decision when He decides to. We too often go to hospitals and pray for the body and not the soul. We might not see God work on this side, but He is always working on the "other" side.. The spiritual side.

1 Cor 12 8 explains how God will give u the gift of wisdom, but first you much obtain, the gift of knowledge. You can have knowledge with no wisdom. With knowledge, God will give you the gift of revelation. Sometimes you'll read a verse and not understand. You can go thru some things, and read the same scripture and finally understand it. That's because God has revealed the meaning to His word. Which is the gift of revelation. This is stated in Romans 16 25. God has revealed His word.. So there's no need to look for a "new" word. If there was more to reveal, He wouldn't have ended with Revelations. When God reveals knowledge, we have to have the wisdom to apply it to our lives.
In Cor 12 9. It states that, the same spirit that gives knowledge, also gives faith. The same spirit decides who receives what gift. So no gift is better than the other. Not regular faith. Its supernatural faith. Have you ever doubted God? Someone gifted with Jesus' supernatural faith will never doubt God. Jesus didn't even lose faith in God on the cross, how can we doubt? Supernatural faith will allow you to see a way out in ANY situation. People with faith know that if nothing else good happens, they know that God has done more than enough and has a place for them in His kingdom. Faith will have you seeing things with new eyes. People with faith will encourage you in your weakest moment, but will not go down there with you. They will be able to guide you out of any situation, they know that God has His hand in every situation.
Act 27 13 shows the story of Paul on the ship to be put on trial to meet Caesar. During the trip and strong storm came upon them and made them drop cargo from the ship, it broke the sails, and damaged the boat. At one point, the sailors said all hope was lost. To get thru the storm, they had to cast out cargo. Sometimes, for us to get thru our storms, we have to let some things go. One day, after days of not eating, Paul stated, "I told you in the first place not to make this trip, but don't be scared bc the boat might not make it, but no one will die, bc an angel of the Lord said to me last night that God has granted us safety. Sometimes God will break things up to help you make it to where you got to go.. They used the pieces of the broken boat to make it to their destination.
2 Cor 12 7 is the story of Paul with the thorn in hid flesh. Paul being a blessed and faithful man, God allowed Satan to place a thorn in his flesh to keep him from becoming proud. Paul asked God 3 times to take the thorn out of his flesh. God answered saying "My grace is sufficient, my power works best in weakness". So Paul faith that God will do everything that need to be done, he then rejoiced in his weakness, his hardships, when people talked about him, and during prosecutions because when he is weak, he is still strong in faith that God's will will be done. Just bc we are gifted, doesnt mean everything will be perfect. We have to work for it. Faith without works is dead. So to be and to stay faithful, we have to work on it daily , bc your faith will always be test and if your faith is false, it will show when all Hell breaks loose in your life.

"A Move of God"
"A Move of God"
In the Old Testament, when God would move, there would be a some physical showing of God (ex: burning bush, parting the Red Sea). In the New Testament, God had Jesus on the Earth and that was His movement. Jesus was God's movement, He turned water into wine, and also walked on water. Jesus was a move of God when he fed the 5000 with 5 loaves of bread and a couple fish. And still had 12 baskets left over. That was a move of God. Now, if we want to see a "Move of God", WE have to move. We have to be moving in the Name of God.
God is moving at all times, we just need to move in His Name. God is moving outside of the church before u even get in the sanctuary. When u are reach the parking ministries, and when they are anointed, ur spirit will be touched right when you u reach the parking lot. Then after you felt the spirit in the lot, you feel anointed by the greeters, each person you come in contact with should show God is moving. God is not waiting for the sermon to move. You might have came in with an attitude but God will move in the usher that sat you down or move in the person you were sat next to you. God is trying to bless you with all the anointed people you come in contact with. God is not waiting to move, He is waiting on you to move.
When you walk in your giftedness, someone might see God in you and be blessed. That's a movement of God. These are all an example of the Body of God working together in Gods gifts. When you use ur gift of wisdom that God gave you, people will tend to say, "u think you know it all". U do. When u work in Gods giftedness and use wisdom, you know Gods knowledge. God is using you to bring Him through you.
In 1 Kings 3, God asked Solomon what do you want out of all things? Solomon answered, "give me wisdom to govern your people" and God answered "Since you only asked for wisdom, I'm gonna give you everything you didn't ask for". Bc God knows that if you have wisdom, you will know how to get the money you need and how to manage and keep it. When you have wisdom, you will know how to get exactly what you need and how to keep it. God's wisdom will allow you to rec everything you need and how to keep it.
Read 1 Kings 3 16 - 28 to see how Gods wisdom worked through Solomon with the 2 prostitutes and the baby. Gods works, we just have to work in His name. We don't have to wait until the preacher preach to be blessed.

I am special.. When u have children, no matter how bad they are, they can't be replaced. And that's exactly how God feels about us. God gave us a variety of gifts to show us all of the different gifts Jesus had while on Earth. So when we work in our gift, it as if Jesus was here doing it today. Everyone working in their gift together is part of the ONE body in Christ. Each of us have our own function, under one God.
1 Cor 12 : 5 states this. Mark 10 45 states that Jesus gift was to serve, not to be served too. Such as we should be too. We shouldn't need to be worshiped just bc we are gifted, we are gifted to serve, and to serve the Word to others. Jesus cleaned feet before dinner, if Jesus would knell down and humble himself to serve and clean someones feet, then who are we to say we are tooo good to do anything for the Body of Christ. God is gifting us to serve. Not for people to bow down to us. God will give us a gift, and then show us where and how to use it. We don't get left trying to figure it out.
1 Cor 12 : 6 says that God will give us the results of ur gift. God will bring the people to u that need to be served by ur gift. Knowing this takes us out the equation, all we have to do is study to show ourselves approved. When u work in your gift, when other people in the body of Christ see you serving, it will stir up in them and help them serve and work in there gift. Ur gift might be serving, seeing u serve might make someone who has a gift of mercy to start using their gift.. And so on. When u have a gift, its hard to keep it too urself.

1 Corinthians 12:3
when we are listening to speakers of God's word, pay attention to the content, and not the character of the speaker. Also the scripture states that anyone who calls Him, Lord, has to be of the body. Not just verbally calling Him Lord , but who's heart is actually calling Him, Lord. Some of us are soo busy reading the Word, that we stop actually doing it. Just bc u can Jesus , Lord, doesn't get you into Heaven. But the ones who call Him and live like it, that's how we get to Heaven. Verballization is the 1st step. You don't walk into salvation, God CALLs you into salvation, and He will know you are real by the way you walk.
Back to Verse 4, states that in the body of Christ, there are various gifts. Gifts are given from God, we didn't work for it. So we cant be arrogant about a gift that we didn't work for. God gave it to us. Gods gift is a calling, not a profession. God wants unity in diversity. We can't all do the same thing. Its up to us to see our Body of Christ is like a football team, every member has their role to get to one goal. Every person operating in the Gift that God gave them is significant. There are many gift, but they are all from the same spirit or source. The world will be better once we learn to live and walk in our giftedness. We are Gifted people.

Spiritual Gifts
"Gifts"
1 Corinthians 12 speaks on spiritual gifts. To know ur gift, ur house has to be in order, God will not bless you in you mess. You are gifted but you have too much mess in your life.
1 corinthians 3 states our mess in our lives. Paul is speaking to the church, he said that he couldn't speak to the church bc they were tooo carnal minded. We are as babies, not ready to be feed meat, but only milk, bc we are not spiritually grown. We have too much mess in our lives and its affecting our growth in the spirit. Chapter 11speaks on how divided the church is, why come to church and not fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ? If u don't want to help your fellow brothers and sisters, u can stay at home. When we meet in the name of God, how can we be separated? God brings us together to help each other, we are family with one Father. We are family, we need to act as such. Knowing that God is our father, there are soooo many times when God could have just left us in the trouble that we were in but bc you are His baby boy or just bc ur his baby gurl and yu mean that much to Him, He shows up. Just as a parent shows up when we acted bad at school, God shows up.
Chapter 12 1 explains that Paul wants to educate us about our gifts. If we don't know our gift, the Devil will use it against us. Verse 2 states that we had allow things to come into our lives that we put in front of God (Idols) and this has led is away from the spirit. We have allowed our kids, our partner, our cars, our titles, or whatever. The Devil will throw whatever he can at us to distract us from our Gifts. The Devil will work on us to make it hard for u to let our past go. Always remember that the Devil is a liar and he will do whatever he can to get us disconnected from the spirit.
The Devil will place a void in your life and you will keep doing things that will not satisfy you. He will keep you in the clubs trying to fill a void that you will never be able to fill. When your in the club, you will are not in your right mind, u are letting the wrong spirits (alcohol) take over you. There are people who will not allow their gift to manifest bc they don't want someone outside of the church to front them out when they see them in church. Some people will not sing in the choir bc they are scared that someone who was just in the club with them the night before will front them out. Let your past go, and leave the clubs and use your spiritual gifts. Pagans feel as if being in church won't allow you to be free, when in actually, being in the world will keep you in the bondage of hell. Jesus died so that we can be free, He already paid the cost, so we can live free.

ASKING and RECEIVING
Good morning.
What are you asking the Lord for? Solomon asked for wisdom, something he could use in doing the will of the Father. God gave him that and then some. He gave Solomon great things he didn't ask for. Think about what it is your asking for. You may want to ask for things that will please God. Solomon's request for wisdom was a tool for the kingdom(God's people) he ruled over, but he wanted to do it the right way...God's way. The Lord won't forget your hearts desires by doing it this way. You may get more than you ever imagined. A very wise man recently told me "if you put God first he'll never make you last."

A PROMISE
Good morning
It won't take a lot of words to get this point across.....Psalms 37:25 reads "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." All we have to do is live right in the sight of God and you will always be taken care of and to take it a step further so will your children. Now all we have to do IS do our part because God has already done His. Rejoice in that fact. After all a promise is a promise especially from the Lord.

NEW BREAK!!!
News break!!!! Sin was defeated at Calgary! Second news break!!!! The only power sin has is the power we give it!
Committing a sin and the comitteth of sin are two different things. One is a slip up and the second is the intentional practice of sin. The latter will prevent you from experiencing the fullness of the Lord while on Earth. It will also prevent you from receiving the gift of eternal life. Then again this shouldn't be news to anyone....right?
This just in, no matter how much you "practice" you can't beat God's forgiveness.

Sharing
Good afternoon,
I consider these emails as a form of sharing. For most of you I've shared my gift with music. That made me feel good when I seen people have a good time. Now I'd just rather share the gift of the Lord. Not everybody is ready to unwrap that gift, it took a minute to understand that. That won't stop me from sharing though. I now find the most JOY sharing the Lord with my kids. We used to just share the profits from the weekends parties at the mall. I think the best gift I can share with my kids(and you) is my walk with Christ. I mean really He shared with me these two precious gifts(among the many others). Choose wisely what share with your kids and the rest of the world. The Father chose to share with you His Son. Talk with you soon, until then....

Be Connected
If u have a Bible, please follow along. And pass along to all who might need it.
Subject: Be Connected
Gal 5 22 list all the fruits of the spirit, Romans 7 15 says, the things that I want to do, and things that I kno I shouldn't do, I turn around and do it, Gods answer to this is stay connected. We might LOOK like we are connected but we actually aren't. Some times are phn calls to God "lose service". John 15 states, "I AM... the true vine" all throughout John Jesus makes 7 statements of who He is... He is tryna tell us that He is the same One who delivered Moses. Verse one states He is the vine and God is the gardener, God cuts off any branch that doesn't produce fruit. You might look connected to the vine, but if u do not bear fruit, u will be "disconnected" from the vine. Just because ur by the vine doesn't mean ur OF the vine. Judas is a perfect example, He was right by Jesus but NEVER connected to the vine.
Matthew 7 16 advises u that u can't identify a vine by their outer appearance, a good tree can only bear good fruit. So u are the fruit that you bear, and if u bear bad fruit, u will be chopped down and thrown in the fire. Verse 22 states about people who will try to use their works to get in the kingdom of God. But if ur not connected, God will cast u away and tell u that He never knew u. Matthew 13 24 - 29 is the parable of the fruits and the weeds. Its states don't try to judge someone thinkin that they are weeds, u might actually pull up a true fruit doing this. We don't kno who is of God, only God knows, so do not try to judge.
1 John 2 19 states that if someone leaves then they were never of us.. People will show their true fruits. So Gods people will show their true selves. Its not for us to worry about it. God will take care of the fruit. Once again, bc God is the Gardener and he will prune us. When He prunes us, he will cut away sin and other things that might stop our growth. He will cut off the dead leaves. Dead leaves will be things in your life that ur spending too much energy on that will never bear fruit. God will cut off those things and people in your life that ur wasting your time on. God also has to kill the insects in your life. Insects don't live on the plant. They just come when they want something, take from the plant and go on their way.. We can't allow the insects to take away from our fruit. Sometimes God has to pluck some insects out of our lives. God will refuse to let His fruits be eaten away.
Hebrew 12 3-8 states that He might pluck the bug off of us, and whoop us for allowing the bugs to come back. Bc God will correct those whom He loves. If u don't get whopped when your doing wrong, then you aren't His. God also will remove all parasites. Parasites will live on, with or in you and will give u anything good in return. Parasites will kill your energy and will change you from the person you were. Sometimes we can't notices our parasites bc WE might be a parasite.
How to get connected : John 15 4.. States u must ABIDE in God words, u must stay around God. You must read His word. Psalms 1 states that a righteous person who can't sit in the company of sin MUST meditate and read day and night. Also, you must always PRAY and not just over meals, or on the run. God desires that we get into a private place and spend quality time to pray. Don't just pray for others, pray for urselves for growth in your relationship with GOD. We also need to have a fellowship. We need to connect with people who are connected. Hanging with people who aren't connected will not be able to help you with your connection with God. That's the blind leading the blind. If you hang with the right people, they might be able to bring you out of the trenches. John 15 7 states that if u abide in Him and His Word shall abide in you, whatever u ask for, you WILL get. Bc if u are abiding, you will not ask for nothing outside of His will. If u need something, abide, and when u abide, just ask and u will receive

BLESSINGS
Blessings:: If you have a Bible, follow along
Deut 28 1-4 speaks on Gods blessing us when were are obedient. It says if ur diligent, God will place us above all nations. God never runs out of blessings, He seems to be running out of people to bless. There are conditional blessing that He has for those who are faithful. When u are faithful, the blessing will overtake you. You won't have to look for them. Gods blessing will come and find you when ur ready you be blessed. He just wants us to be prepared for our blessings. Verse 7 explains that God will conquer your enemies when they attack you. He will make your enemies your footstool. He will COMMAND blessings to u and the land that u inhabit. Whatsoever God commands, it WILL happen. God said that whatever u touch He will increase, so watch what you touch, bc if you touch evil, he will increase that in your life. Continue to walk in His way and people will not only be afraid of you but WHO is behind you. When God blesses you, man can not explain it, and people not of God will begin to be scared of what He can and will do. God will open up his treasures to you. Treasures aren't always money. He might provide a diamond of JOY, or a pearl of Peace or a ruby of REST. Whatever u need God will open up his treasure of blessing for those who are obedient.
Verse 13 states that He will make u the Head and not the Tail, He will make you the Lender and not the borrower.. IF u obey. If ur not in His will, you can't hear His voice. If you can't hear His voice then u can't heed to His directions. Don't be content with being a borrower. Listen to God, follow His direction bc He will bless you and the place wherever He leads you. 1 Peter 5:8 will tell you what's stopping you from your blessings. The devil is walking around as a roaring lion waiting to devour us. A lion will roar to confuse its prey to see who is the weakest and then use that against them. Satan will watch you to find out what ur weakness is so that you can miss your blessings. He will place people in your life just to defeat you. We are making it easier for the Devil to get to us by all of this exposure we are doing. All the info we release (via phn conversations, twitter, facebook etc) is just making it that much easier for the Devil to overwhelm us with temptation.
Galatians 5 , 1 John 2:16 will show u that the devil will use lust of the flesh and possessions to block us from blessings. Eve wasn't satisfied with her own trees, she had to have the one she wasn't supposed to. You can never satisfy the flesh. Satan will make you feel like what u have is not enough. Pride of life is also another ploy of the Devil. He will try to make ur flesh want more than what ur spiritual mind needs. Our problem ultimately is not the devil, it is that we are out of control. We have no temperance, which is restraining for you flesh's desires, ie: having self control. God says the reason why My people are not being blessed is because we have no self control. We are taking everything the devil is giving us. Your blessings are linked to your self control. You're not being blessed bc your not in control of your life.
To gain control back, you need to do some things. 1st, be forgiven. When you ask for forgiveness you have to actually face who you are. We hide behind issues, and you have to come clean with all of YOUR issues. U can't blame no one.
2nd, you have to forgive others. The Devil will hold you back with holding on to things in your heart that you have to let go.
3rd, we must forgive ourselves. If God has moved you from something, you can't keep bringing it up. When u don't forgive yourself, ur acting as if your better than God. Lastly, don't use ur spirituality to hide behind. Phrases like "God loves me anyways" and "I'm already forgiven" will have you thinking that u don't have to ask forgiveness for your actions.

Fruits of the Spirit - MEEKNESS
Galatians 5 23
If God allows something to happen, know that He has a reason for it. He might put you through something to bless someone us. Meekness is POWER under control. Knowing that you have the ability to do something but having control to not react to it.
James 1 21. A person who is meek is teachable. Read all of James 1. Speaks on learning and doing Gods Word. He has bought us with a price. He has the right to do with us as He wants to do... We have no right to dispute or refute what He has done or will do. You have no reason to fight anything or anyone, just slow down and Let God take care of things. God is not meek bc he already has everything under control, to be meek is to seem as if something needs to be controlled.
God has everything under control already. Matthew 11 shows that Chris is meek. Christ is Gods human form in which we should be like. Isaiah 53 speaks of the Lords Servant and this shows that he was oppressed and afflicted but never said a word. He choose not to open his mouth bc he chose to live by the will of God, not his own will... Whenever God puts u through a storm its for a purpose, its to make ur faith grow. When you've learned your lesson God will show up and say "Peace Be Still"... God says "if you can suffer as I can suffer than I can trust you to teach others my love, my blessings.. " This is why we sing "I won't complain". Whatever God is putting to thru, He will not leave u while u go thru it... Colossians 3 12 tells us o put on (clothe yourself with) meekness and never take it off. You can't choose who you are meek too, he have to be meek to everyone.
Women will learn more about meekness on 1 Peter 3. It says, if you're with an unsaved man, don't constantly throw the word on him, live your life as God says you should and that will speak more than your words. A man will always desire the meekness of a woman.
In Galatians 6, it says do not allow ur fellows christians to fall to sin. If they do, help them, don't front them out and make sure you do fall to the same thing. Psalms 25 9 says that He will lead the meek and teach them His way... If God is guiding you, you can't go wrong. Psalm 37 says the meek shall inherit the Earth. Psalms 147 6 says the Lord lifts the meek... So remember that wherever God lifts you, no one else will be able to bring you down. God will put you in a place that the devil can find you.
Isaiah 29 19 says the meek shall increase their joy in the Lord, the poor will rejoice in the Holy One. When u walk in the spirit, He will make sure that you will continue to have an increase of joy, no matter what you monetary status. As long as ur continue your walk with God, will increase your JOY beyond measure. He won't just stop there, He will make your enemies your footstool, He will bless your offspring by your meekness. You might not always see you, but He will take care of your offspring just by the way you walk.
